POETRY BOOK LAUNCH

POETRY BOOK LAUNCH // I came up with the idea for my first poetry book in 2016 – ‘Poems for lovers to read to each other‘ (to encourage adults to read to one another) and since then, ‘Poems for me to truly be‘ (think Dr Seuss meets Dr Phil), and a third, ‘The Prophetess‘ (based on Kahlil Gibran’s The Prophet) but I still don’t have them in print!
However, I have published 174 poems on my own website and these have been re-published elsewhere in various locations over 190 times!
On 30 May 2026, I decided it was time to go on another writing getaway to make these poetry books happen as I have not been away to do some focused writing and sorting since 2019!
I booked an AirBnB in Warragul, Victoria from 5-9 June 2026 and I have made a promise to myself that I will announce my next book launch date by 30 June 2026. There’s a little tour of ‘The Garden House’ in the video below!
